A NEW Beginning…

As we have celebrated Jesus’ Resurrection, remembering His triumph over the grave, it feels to me like a brand new start - a new beginning - a fresh canvas on which to paint a new picture. What a joy to know that HIS mercies are new EVERY morning. The Springtime is one vast metaphor that after death comes LIFE, and we get to see it every year.

"Look what I made for you..."

I hope & pray that you sense the joy & “freshness” of Jesus’ salvation, and that you emphasize that cleansing to your children regularly. Talk about it when you see the daffodils pushing up through the soil, and the trees budding after a long cold winter. Mention God’s grace to care for the birds when that robin begins to build her nest nearby, and don’t forget His grace to provide for us as well.

The list of all that He’s given us will be long…but let’s begin; 

LIFE: - the breath in our lungs, the blood in our veins, and every cell in every organ He has wondrously designed.

FAMILY: - I’m so grateful for the heritage of Godliness in my parents, grandparents, and others who passed on a legacy of honoring and serving God.

DAILY BREAD: - Not only the life-giving food that comes my way, but the sense of taste to enjoy that food and drink.

FREEDOM: - We still have the right to choose our way, and to speak freely about our convictions.
