Sing this song with your kids!

We’re continuing our series of Creation for several weeks, so if you hear your children humming a familiar tune, this might be it! It’s instructive, and Biblically accurate, so learn it, enjoy it, and reinforce with your kids the vital truth that “God made the Universe, and God Made YOU!” Click here to LISTEN & sing along —->>>  Creation Review Song Creation Review Song Lyrics Copyright 1990, B.Bopp Productions Day One, the Lord had just begun. This is the basic requirement for every family. Swimming upstream in a “ME FIRST” world

Mankind is just plain SELFISH.  It has been that way ever since the Garden of Eden.  The only way for us to become SELF-LESS is to accept Christ and follow His example.  He came to SERVE, not to be served, and we Christ-followers should do the same.  That’s our message in True North Kids’ Church this week, and I would encourage you to download the family devotion page and begin “swimming upstream” together.  Have a blessed week!!  family_devotional_serving-others  <<—–  Click here to download the devotional on “Serving Others”

Develop Daily Devotion to God in your Children

I’m no expert at this, but I think if we encourage one another and pray for our children they’ll have a better chance of developing this discipline in childhood. I can say from experience that its really hard to begin as an adult, so let’s give our kids an advantage and push them to start TODAY. Three steps come to mind: 1) - MODEL daily devotion in your own life. 2) - Make it fit each child. YOU must find the right materials and method for each child. 3) - REWARD their efforts, just as you would the first steps of an infant learning to walk. I’ll be praying, as I did this...

Family Patriotism

Question: What is the primary office of our political system? Is it (A: Representative, B: President, C: Governor, or D: Citizen) If you answered D you are correct! Our system of government rests upon the good character and conduct of everyone who holds this foundational office - in other words;  ALL of us.  THEREFORE we MUST be proactive in teaching our children proper Christian conduct and behavior as the FIRST STEP in the political process. The character of this nation works from the ground up, so our best hope is to flood the nation with solid Biblical Christians who will stand up for...
