In January we discussed the importance of having a budget to help us with our finances. Did you calculate what your monthly income and expenses are? Which is the bigger number?
If your expenses are less than your income, then you are a rare breed who is in good shape to begin with so sit tight a minute.
If your expenses exceed your income, you are not alone. You actually have a lot of company. Most of our society is in the same boat, but you are one of the bold ones who is jumping out of the debt boat!!
If your income is $1000 and your expenses are $1200, you know you are spending $200 each...

I just heard this past week that 75% of all Americans who made a new year’s resolution resolved to improve their financial position in 2011. That is a solid new year’s resolution.
