These questions are a great reminder that we should come away changed every time we encounter God’s Word. If not, what is the point? Too often, I believe, we approach the Bible as simply something to “get into us,” as though by merely running our eyes over the words and paragraphs we will gain some form of spiritual nourishment. It would seem the key to change is careful consideration of the Word and what it is about us that doesn’t reflect Christ, and hence needs to change.

When I don’t feel love from other people, especially family and other Christians, it is a challange for me to remember the most important person in all the world does love me – no matter what. So to remember & concentrate on that premise is my goal.
